Why Go?
By volunteering with the Dream Center, you are joining a movement to change the lives of individuals, families, and even communities.
The Dream Center helps to pave paths out of homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, and human trafficking. When you join forces with fellow volunteers, it will give you new light on what is going on in our own back yard. You will walk away touching the lives of others and even being touched yourself.
You will never know how much of an impact you will have by serving if you never go. Jesus tells us to love our neighbor as our self, to cloth the naked, the feed the hungry, and to visit the sick.
Are you willing to go be the hands and feet of Jesus? Would you be willing to give the shirt off of your back for someone that doesn't have a shirt? Are you ready to go take care of the widows and the orphans? Or are you willing to just take some time away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life to go love the people in LA?
